- Writing: How would you feel about eating all that food? What is your favourite food? Draw a picture of which food you would want to eat if you were a caterpillar.
- Math: Feed the caterpillar: Find some small items in your house, bread tags, juice covers or whatever else you can find. Draw a caterpillar on a paper and make two circles below it. Roll a dice and see what number you get. Put that amount of items in one of the circles. Roll the dice again and add that amount the second circle. Now count both sets of items together. How many items do you have together? Play this a couple of times. Write down your numbers on a separate paper. Did you get the same number twice? What was the most you fed the caterpillar? What was the least you fed the caterpillar?
- Art: Make a hungry caterpillar! Cut out circles from paper, colour them (or use coloured paper). Make one circle for each letter of your name. Print one letter of your name in each circle.
