Friday May 1

Here we are at May 1st!! It’s hard to believe! These last two months of school are some of my favourite months in the classroom (and the hardest for several reasons!). I usually do a hockey playoff math unit, we do some other fun things that we will learn about next week, and lots of other fun units to finish off the school year.  I am sad to not be able to do these units as I usually do but am adapting them to suit online learning!

I will have a couple of surprises in the next week for the children so stay tuned!

Wednesday April 29

Good morning! How are you all doing?  Parents you are all doing a fantastic job of teaching from home! I know how hard it is to be juggling work, teaching your children and managing all the other things that you have to do in the run of the day.  Great job to you for doing what you are doing!  Remember to not feel guilty if you don’t get things done and remember all the children are experiencing the same education right now.  No child will be further ahead or behind, they are all out of school and routine right now.  I know that I need this reminder a lot of days as I try to juggle all of my own children’s education and make sure I still do my job for your children 🙂 So please be easy on your self!

If you need anything, food, materials, counselling, anything at all please send me a private email and I can do my best to help you get what you need.
